Exchange Policy

Item must be in original condition (uncut, undamaged, etc.) – and the role must be untampered with.

Samples, swatches and cut lace cannot be returned/exchanged and are non-refundable.

If an Item is to be exchanged, please include following information in the Email:

  3. Item you want instead

Refund Policy

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel and return your order within fourteen (14) days, for any reason and with no justification. You can either inform us per Email or send us "this refund template" (§ 356 BGB)

The refund time frame is fourteen (14) days from the date of the receipt of the goods by yourself or a third person, who is not responsible for delivery; or in case the goods of one order were delivered separately; the date of the receipt of the last part of this order by yourself or a third person, who is not responsible for delivery.

To proceed with this cancellation you have to send us (Chanty Spitzenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG; Messenhäuser Strasse 40; 63322 Rödermark-Urberach, info@chantylace.com; +49 (0) 6074 / 8684-0) an explicitly formulated and clear message stating your decision to cancel this contract. You can use this cancellation template, but do not have to.

To preserve the refund time frame you have to send the message informing us of your decision to cancel this contract before the end of the refund time frame.

Results of Cancellation

In case of cancellation of this contract we have to return all payments we have received from you as soon as possible and within fourteen (14) days – counting from the day we received the message of your decision to cancel this contract -, including the delivery cost (with the exception of any additional cost that occurred by selection of a delivery option other than the offered, least expensive standard delivery).

The refund payment will be processed using the original method of payment.

This payment can be denied until the goods have been received back by us or proof of delivery has been provided, depending which of these happens at an earlier point in time.

You have to return or hand over the goods promptly and in any case within fourteen (14) days from the day on which the cancellation declaration was send to us. It is sufficient if the goods have been sent within the time frame.

The ensuing costs for the return of the goods will be settled by you.

We will not refund any delivery charges, duties or taxes that occur or have occurred as a result of your purchase.

Please understand that goods customized or personalized in such ways (cutting, dyeing) are permanently altered and thus non-refundable. (§ 312g Abs. 2 Satz 1 Nr. 1 BGB: „The right of cancellation is not available for contracts to deliver goods which are neither prefabricated nor for those goods for which the production is an individual choice or instruction mainly by the consumer or for which it is clear that the goods are adapted to the personal needs for the consumer.“)

Please be aware that we will not be liable for any loss or damage to any returned goods in transit and as such, we suggest that you return any goods through a trackable delivery service.

We will not accept liability for any damaged goods that were not reported prior.

Conditions of Use

The information provided during registration on this website are to be complete, true and valid.

Only adults, and at least of an age of 18, are permitted to purchases on this website.

Delivery Policy

All goods will be delivered to the address entered during registration, unless stated otherwise.

In case your delivery address is outside the EU, you may be subject to additional duties and taxes. Hence it is your duty to comply with all regulations that may apply. Additionally all steps to clear customs must be undertaken by yourself. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

In case of non-delivery of purchased goods after more than 3 weeks, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase. This is only applicable for purchases of finished goods. In case of any customized goods, this period may vary according to the type of customization and will always be communicated to the buyer at the time of the closing of the contract,

The seller is not accountable for delays cause by an act of nature.

The delivery time extends in cases where the buyer has any payments outstanding.

Material Delivery

  1. Please be aware that while we will do our best to provide continues metrages, it may be that the ordered quantity will be send divided in various parts. This depends on availability and we unfortunately cannot guarantee that the ordered quantity is available in one piece.
  2. In case of an unreasonable amount of shorter parts, we will inform you.
  3. Depending on a various amount of aspects, the rapport length, width, usable width, cut length (as well as other measurements) may vary some. They will be within our tolerances. In case the variation is bigger, we will inform the buyer as soon as possible.

Conclusion of Contract

The act of placing an order is you making an offer for purchasing goods. This does in no way mean that your order was accepted. The contract of sale is only concluded by us sending you a confirmation.

All prices will show applicable VAT depending on country of residence at checkout for private consumers.

Please note that while we will check availability and pricing during each processing of an order, it may be that there are differences. In such a case we will notify you as soon as possible. If the difference is a detriment to you we will give you the possibility of canceling the order or proceed with the purchase.

We reserve the right to terminate your account or refuse any kind of service with no prior notification. This is subject to our purview.

Any changes to this contract are to be written down and require consent.

Late payment

In cases of delayed payments or overdue invoices, we reserve the right to hold the goods until the payment is received.

After an appropriate time of delay or in case of any change affecting any part of the goods of the order, the order may also get cancelled.

Reservation of ownership

The ownership of the goods will remain in possession of the seller and will not transfer to the buyer until the agreed upon purchase price of the goods has been paid in full.

Upon delivery of the goods the responsibility for the goods will pass to the buyer. Regardless of ownership.

Limitation of liability

We will do our best to ensure that our website services are available and uninterrupted, but cannot guarantee this due to the nature of the internet.

In no way is CHANTY, its employees, representatives or agents liable for anything connected, either indirect, consequential or direct – to your use of this website, whether such liability is under contract or otherwise.

If any such term is found invalid in any way, it will not render those terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole.

Alterations and amendments

We reserve the right to make any changes to our website, policies, terms and conditions at any time. By using the Website or completing purchases you are agreeing to our policies, terms and conditions.

Disputes

Applicable here is German law excluding the regulations of UN-Purchaser rights. Place of execution and exclusive please of jurisdiction is legal seat of the seller. The seller has the right to move lawsuits and any other ongoing cases to the general place of jurisdiction of the buyer.
